Does anyone know of a workaround? Matt Boyd suggested saving images and
loading them for these specific zoomlevels - could anyone tell me how to
go about that (and is it allowed under the Google terms)?

Currently WGS84 unprojected, but that doesn't seem to be related to the

Other approaches compile in 10.7. Thanks William
SDKs are really only needed when you compile on one system for an earlier
system, like on Lion (10.7) for Snow Leopard (10.6)
So, maybe my first compilation should work with 10.6 and 10.8. I did check
both with no stable results. I prepared a

I had a problem running QSpatiaLite plugin in Win PC today with my students.
Starting the plugin the following error appears: The SQL query seems to be

The same error appears when I try to load data from QGIS to SpatiaLite.

Hi,
sorry this question is more postgresql related, but maybe here is somebody
with postgres skills :) I wrote a function which should be launched maybe
every hour, or just once a night. Is there a possibility to start this
function directly in postgresql and not in a workaround like a cronjob?

To expand on what Rudi, Goyo, and Andreas have suggested with regard to
converting data stored in spreadsheets and or text files to shapefiles I
follow a work flow like:
1. Install XY tools using the Plug-in Manager (in menu - Plugins... Fetch

You miss pyspatialite.
