I'm trying to reproduce an script published in Rbloggers [1] with no
success so far. Simpliying it do not improve the result. No png seems to be
drawn. The provided raster histogram works.

I found the problem. The old QGIS needs to be deleted before 'sudo make
install' then it works. Now also the Python Console in QGIS works. Somehow not
everything was overwritten in a new installation. I think this is worth
mentioning in the QGIS INSTALL instruction.
