transfering waypoints to mapsource. However I
can´t directly transfer waypoinst to Quantum GIS.
The Quantum GIS GPS tool is configured as
indicated below. I always get the message: The
layer . . . is not a valid layer and can not be
added
Any idea when we will have QGis 2.0 available for Snow Leopard?
I'm waiting anxiously...

First, what OS are you working on? (In
Ubuntu you might need some changes to the .udev configuration)
Second, be sure there are no spaces or non-ASCII characters in the
path to the gpx file.

Just downloaded and installed the latest version QGIS 2.0.1 and it works -
up to a point!
It gives a non-critical runtime error, but after closing this window starts
ok from what I can tell.
Also took a couple of tries to download the entire installer file.
