Hi,
I have the same problem on windows XP (32bit). At the first boot qgis works
but after I had install some plugins it shows me that error and shuts down.
I tried to re-install it but nothing changed.

Hey
I can't install SagaGIS on Ubuntu 13.04 32bit. I'm using ppa
ubuntugis-unstable and there is a problem with dependencies.
saga : Wymaga: libgdal1 (>= 1.9.0) ale nie zostanie zainstalowany
Wymaga: liblas1 ale nie zostanie zainstalowany
Do You have any ideas how to install Saga?

Sorry for the mixup. I bundled GSL in the QGIS app, but messed up the linking
so it still looked for an external GSL. This will be fixed in an update soon.

Thanks Andreas,
I used a crude but effective workaround by selecting the polygon and
then the points in the polygon and then doing a simple {case when
"Variable" is NULL then 'String' else "Variable" end} for each polygon (I
only had nine so it wasn't too much of a strain) and it worked fine.

Hey, everyone..
I have a problem with r.drain in QGIS 2.0.1.
I need to use r.drain tool from Geoprocessing tools. But when I want to use
it, while I have loaded some vector layers (esri shp), Python shows me some
error (below).
"Funny" thing is, when I have loaded only raster files, r.drain works

Hi,

Hi Pat,
The "Vector" --> "Data management tools" --> "Join attributes by
location" will also join attributes from the polygon layer - of course,
depending on the spatial join, it will have to aggregate the data like
you also have to in SQL if you have a 1:n relation - but you can also

Ok Larry.
I downloaded GSL from http://www.kyngchaos.com/software/frameworks : GSL
framework v1.16-1
and now QGIS has the georeferencing plugin!
Thank you so much!
You can consider the issue solved.
Thanks to all contributing to this thread.

Hi,
I have a polygon layer and a point layer. Using "Points in Polygons" I
have isolated a set of points that occur in one particular polygon. This
polygon has a name in the polygon Attribute Table. I have created a field
in the point table and now I want to read from the polygon table the name

I just followed your suggestions right now - I cleaned the /Application/QGIS

kyngchaos.com.

Dear list,
I don't know if this a question of packaging for debian or just a wrong
key on Qgis homepage.
With the mentioned key
gpg --recv-key 997D3880
gpg --export --armor 997D3880 | sudo apt-key add -
I don't get Qgis 2.01.
gpg --list-key says:

Dear QGIS community,
I'm a newbie to QGIS. I installed yesterday the 2.0.1 version downloaded from :

I saw online on few tutorials the capability of the georeferencing plugin and I
wanted to give it a try.
After installation, in the plugin section I'm not able
Thanks. Although having yet another tracker to keep track of (as a

Hi List,
This is happening in 2.0.1 too. As other things can connect to the database
from this machine I have to guess that it is a QGIS thing. I know it worked
previously but doesn't seem to any more.
Does it work for other folks? What are you entering into the parameters?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Good Morning to the QGIS community,
First off, I would like to thank all the developers for QGIS 2.0.1, it's a
great piece of software. The user interface is clean, crisp and easy to
navigate, and with all the new features I can't imagine going back.
That said, I do think there is a feature miss
