Hi, I have recently upgraded to QGIS 2 am i'm really enjoying it! I have noticed I can zoom within a map frame in the Print Composer with the mouse wheel. Is there a way to pan within the frame? The ability to zoom, pan and rotate with a mouse within the map frame would be fantastic. Regards

Hi Craig, You can pan with the Move item content button. There is no rotation linked with the mouse, just the zooming. What would you propose - how should rotation of the map work? In combination with a modifier key? Please also note that the print composer will be considerably improved in

Ah, I can see how I missed this. I was expecting a hand icon with a label pan. BTW Move Item Content doesn't appear to work with all items. For example, I can't move a label within it's frame. Thanks Andreas for the pointer to the blog for upcoming improvements. I'll take a closer look. Regards
