Given the vast distances to get anywhere I'd add that a monthly virtual
meetup would be a good idea. Google Hangout to start and see where it goes.

That is probably because you have one large value (1.6e-08).
I assume you are using qgis 2.0.1 ?
You can change the min and max values before clicking Classify, or select a
different option in "Load min/max values" and click load

I've problems to visualize a .tif raster in a singleband pseudocolor map in
the new version of Qgis.
My raster layer ranges from 0 to 1.6e-08, when I try to classify from
grayscale to pseudocolor all values are rounded at zero.
