Hello, my computer runs in 64 bits (windows 7) but I have to re-install
QGIS 2.0 for 32 bits due to a problem with R´s plots. But now, when I start
QGIS, it can not load PROCESSING tool, the message was:
No se pudo cargar el c
The problem is caused by that \r at the end of the string. That was
fixed long ago. Which version are you using? have you updated it in
the plugin manager?
Enable the "see experimental plugins" option and you should be able to
get a version with that bug fixed

Hello all,
I have a question concerning 'Item properties --> Legend items --> Auto
Update' in Print Composer.
When I use this option and change layer properties in QGIS the legend
doesn't update in the Print Composer. In which case does the option
'Auto Update' work? Is this a bug?

Also, in QuantumGis 1.8 / Grass, I've noticed that some raster functions
(ex: *r.surf.contour)* crash if the resulting raster is a big one (in terms
of pixel size vs ROI); I remember the threshold for crashing was something
like 1.ooox1.ooo lines.

OK, I installed the Open Layers plugin and it works very nice but it
won't do what I need, so let me be more specific and see if there might
be a remedy.

Garman GPS. The Garman data was overlaid on the Google map, (with wa
As mentioned before you'll need to use the Georegistration tool to
generate spatial info for your jpeg. Once thats done it will line up
with other data and you can digitize new layers on top. If you still
have the Garmin data that might help with all of the steps.

So yesterday I had to catch the train (very rare for Australians) so I
took QGIS, and the Processing package of SAGA, GRASS all on my laptop and
tried out some different approaches.
GRASS r.to.vect did the job nicely.
How things have progressed.

What do you mean when you say make 3D data? Visualize it?
Have a look at VTerrain and Enviro, or Nviz inside GRASS GIS.
