my favourite tool to import shape files in PostGIS is via QGIS and DB-Manager.
I wonder if there is a option to set the field names to lower case? Then the data is much more prettier ton handle in the database. Or if the author is reading this, maybe theres an option to implement this
I forgot to say that my QGIS Version is 2.4.0 and i thought this conversion was done automatically in the previous versions. But an Option would be nice. And i imported my data from a file geodatabase

If you can't find simplified polygons, using QGIS server or an export to
mapserver might be a better solution. That would prevent the browser

on a windows machine I installed QGIS 2.4
I had the previous versions installed as well.
I can`t find the predefined styles under all QGIS 2.X.
Any idea how to upload them?
