Hi Leo,
If you install the Processing plugin, you will find a clip tool for
vector layers in the toolbox.
You can also use ogr2ogr option --clipsrc
(http://www.gdal.org/ogr2ogr.html)... command line rcoks :)
Cheers,
V.

hi all!
please, is there someone who could explain properly all the NoData topic?
I mean:
1. differences in setting negative values (-999, -, -3.40282e +35, etc) VS

2. how QGIS handles it

With country border data from NaturalEarth, I'm using Ctrl-C to copy a
selected country and paste it into a text editor in WKT format. However,
I can't find a way to make this use a specific projection. So far the
only way I've found to get the result I need is to first export a shape

Hello everyone!
if I have two layers of polygons and would like to copy a polygon from one
to another, what would be the best way?
I have used the copy / paste but the polygon is being glued to their fields
with the null value, even when some fields are already filled.

Hallo Marcel,
have you tried to run the grass command v.transform with point file from the
Processing Panel?
In this way you do not need to calculate the parameters, and you can use it
for batch processing too.
You still need more than two points with known coordinates.

Hi List,
I'm trying to get QGIS to connect to an Oracle View but as best I can tell QGIS
is requiring a Primary key. The problem is that I don't believe Oracle formally
supports these for views, only base tables or materialised views, and creating
one isn't necessarily that easy.
Is it

Can you report the full error message? It works for me usually.
