Hello I am running QGIS Chugiak on Windows 7 64 bytes machine. I am trying to run the Lines to Polygons geometry tool on a test data that contains 33 features (33 buildings) and the tool's progress bar is stuck on 26% for a couple of hours now! Is this normal? If not, what could be the reasons

Hi, Yes - I think this should be accompanied with a QEP. Marco Hugentobler is working on this project. As the project started in parallel with the QEP introduction process a QEP wasn't requested as part of the process. I do hope that Marco finds the time though to provide a QEP. Andreas On

Hi Ammar, I was into the same problem some weeks ago, although with another tool, clipping. My experience was that the QGIS tool (found in the processing toolbox) required an incredible lot of time, however with correct result.
