Hi,
Make sure you are opening the raster in the right projection. Make sure
your project is in that projection. Explore the default CSR options.

No problem Felipe. Still cannot figure out how to get QGIS to read the .mdb
file. It is an Arc 10 version I know, but that should not be a problem.
Even tried just drag-and-drop on the view screen area and still got an
error saying it was unrecognised.

Thanks, for your answer. However, my project and my raster both have the
same projection (EPSG:32632 - WGS 84 / UTM zone 32N). With the CSR
options I cannot find anything that does not seem to be right.

I meant to change the project crs to epsg 4326. Make sure you have on

Try it as directory not as database.

If you are under windows, try installing the 32 bit version and see if that

This has to be local to my machine, otherwise no one would be using 2.6.

Try disabling/changing multi-threaded rendering. It may not work well on

So you have a layer created by joining 2 layers and you want to export/save

You can save the joined layer as a shapefile.
Then use the filter (right click on the layer > filter) to determine which
properties to select (you can even do a WHERE IS NOT NULL type thing I
think), it's just simple SQL type stuff there.
Then save the result as a shapefile.

One thing you can check for is if there is a faulty plugin causing the
issue.
Try backing up your .qgis2 folder (ie, rename to .qgis2.backup)
Then relaunch QGIS 2.6 and test again.
What's the data storage format? Are they spatialite, postgis, shapefiles,
etc?

Checked out your suggestion Donovan.
As it’s a new installation I don’t think external plugins are loaded. (Guess
that’s why I don’t have the qgis2 folder??? )
Data storage is small SHP files (100 points) and a series of raster images
(300kB).
Same files that were being used in 1.8
