Hi Stephen, I worked for me. I added the WMS entry using the browser panel with your own data. Then I connected and the capabilities were retrieved. I added the layer and it works. Did you try the URL on the browser? This should be enough to retrieve the capabilities using a browser:

Ciao a tutti, volevo sapere se ( e come) è possibile formattare un numero in un campo della tabella attributi. Esempio: Ho un'attributo COSTO, di tipo FLOAT il valore inserito è 15650 Vorrei che venisse visualizzato nella tabella con il separatore delle migliaia, ossia che apparisse 15'650.

Yes, I recognize that behaviour. I think QGIS cuts the line at the map canvas border and starts calculating point locations from the cut off point. Probably to prevent calculating all points outside the map that won't be visible anyway. This is good when you just want a hatched line or a row

I am experiencing a weird issue with the scale bar length: the stated length does not match the measured length. This happens in several projects, both existing and new. In all tested cases both layer and project CRS are the same and there is no EPSG:3857, 4326 or layers that use mixed CRS.
