Hi Dario, this really depends on the use cases and the reasons for slowness. Some questions to get you started: Are the rest of the team editing the base map? Its style? Or is it really just a backdrop for them? How often is it updated? You might be able to generate raster or vector tiles

While this does sound like a proper geodatabase is needed, if the size of the data isn't too big then an alternative might be to put all the layers into a GeoPackage, so you have at least a single file to manage, then look at using Mergin (https://public.cloudmergin.com/) to share and sync the
