I don't know if this is related or helpful, but GDAL 3.0 doesn't produce
MapInfo TAB files with the correct coordinate system when the coordinate
system is in feet. GDAL 3.3 and 3.4 do work.
A suggestion would be to install GDAL 3.3 or 3.4 and use
ogr2ogr -f "MapInfo file" dest source

Hi All
Does anybody know about resolving this error? Only since upgrade to 3.22.
Create Layer --> Add Virtual Layer
A message appears "Cannot get virtual layer select dialog from provider."
Cheers

Hi,
If you send us a simple file (the original, the tab and mid mif version you
created), we could test on other versions of QGIS. If you do this make sure
we can correctly identify the proper location. Use something like the outline
of a building that we can find using Google earth as backg
Hi,
I've tried exporting to MIF instead of a tab file and it generates an error of
"Found [region] while searching for [version]" when you try to load it into the
MapInfo. The output is also creating an error when QGIS tries to load the data
as well although I'm not sure if QGIS could ever dire

Hi Bob,
This won't be available out of box. But there will be Python API which you
can easily extend the profile tool to handle other data types.
Kind regards

This is exciting news! Will the profile tool be able to show my borehole

Hi Laurent,
Starting from 3.20, you may want to test

if I understand your need.

Good afternoon,
With qgis, the description of a data seems to be available for filling and
consultation via the 'information' and 'metadata' tabs in "LAYER
PROPERTIES". There seem to be bridges between postgis and qgis. For
example, when I fill the "Comment" field of a table with pgadmin, the

Good afternoon,
I work on windows with qgis 3.16.6 and postgresql/postgis.
I have shared a qgis project to several users. The layers are postgis
tables. For some time, whenever an user opens the project, it has been
constantly asked for a double authentication (id / pswd).
Would somebody knows why
Hi,
I checked my old files and looks like the Mapinfo never used the .prj extension
for the projection info. I was confusing the old .qpj file format that was
used for the shapefiles a while ago. That format was a temporary fix. Looks
like Mapinfo store the info in the .map file. This can be
Dear all,
Just a reminder that only 10 days left on our crowdfunding to add more
tools to QGIS for handling point cloud and elevation data:

If you or the organisation you work for, deals with such data, I stron
Hi,
We have tested an the projection was set correctly in version 3.16.0 but it is
now as you say for version 3.16.14. Are you saying this is a deliberate
‘feature’ in version 14 as we have MapInfo users as well as QGIS and this makes
things harder when trying to export to tab as the result is
