Thank you Richard. Your suggestion was a step in the right direction.
I had to import using the add vector layer then export as an ESRI shapefile
and add the shapefile layer. That put all the features from the multiple
dxf file layers on one layer and I was able to move the design. But it is
Hi all
We have been experiencing a very high load on the plugins server. Despite
moving to a more plugins server the problem is ongoing. We plan to add some
rules that require a captcha or similar if you want to download the zip
files for plugins from the web site (i.e. if the user agent is not
You can just use the QGIS *Move Feature* tool, possibly in conjunction with
the *Rotate Feature* and/or *Scale Feature* tools in the advanced
digitizing toolbar.
1. Assign a coordinate system to the DXF layer. If you don't know the
coordinate system, or if the DXF file doesn't have one,
Thank you very much Osin!
With the example that you kindly provided is more clear. I will try it and
again, thank you very much!

get_feature(layer, attribute, value)
This returns a feature. You can then wrap this in attributes() to return a
dictionary of attribute names and values.
You then add ['attributename'] on end to return value.
So for each table
something like
attributes(get_feature('table1', 'common-id-name',
No it won't work. It's not SQL syntax, it's expression syntax. So you need to
use a function to get the corresponding feature from another layer. Hence
getfeature() or one of the overlay_ functions.
You will end up with a long expression.
Or, you could use sql in dB manager?

Hello Oisin,
Thank you for your guidance regarding this topic, and I am sorry if I need
further assistance, but I'm kind of new to QGIS.
Regarding the need to define the layer for each attribute, will it work if I
stated like I had wroten before? i.e.:'Table1.H3centr_h9_cobcubierto' = 1 OR
You definitely need to define the layer for each attribute (except the current
layer).
You also need a way to find the comparable record, e.g.
(i) with a common id (use getfeature() to access attribute) or
(ii) spatially use one of the overlay functions.

Hi,
I have several tables with the same fields, same grid information, but
different field data for each one (information from different providers, let's
say).
Particularly, I have a field with 0 and 1 which represent if each provider
have, or not have coverage in that area.
I want to compare
Hi Nuno,
As usual there are a number of ways to do this. Grass: r.resamp.stats as Em
suggested would work, but might I also suggest the Warp tool, based on
gdal_warp.
This can be found by going to the Menu bar select Raster, Projections and Warp.
Parameters:

Set this to the Raster
Hi Andreas,
Many thanks for your feedback.
It will be an online workshop (CEST time zone). We will update the page
with the times and other details as you suggested.
Kind regards

Dear Saber,
This sounds like a very interesting workshop. Is this an online remote
workshop or onsite somewhere in the UK? The information on the website
doesn't clearly state that.
Thank you for the clarification,
Andreas

Dear QGIS users,
In recent years, we have added several features in QGIS to better handle
weather data. There are also several organisations (NOAA, ECMWF, NASA, etc)
that are publishing their data freely.
We are offering a 2-day workshop to discover the data and bring them in
