In Ubuntu 22.04 upgrading grass from 7.8.7 to 8.4 has broken the QGIS grass
plugin.
downgrading does not solve the problem
On ubuntugis ppa the package qgis-plugin-grass is not installable

previously i was using a compiled version of libgdal 2.1 (with ecw) i
manually removed that and installed 2.4 from debian repository, installed
qgis 3.8 from qgs repository and it cant start.

It seems that the measure tool works fine, on the other hand the
identify tool doesn't show the attributes.
Before installing Qgis 24 64bit qgis 1.8 32b was installed, I will try
to install the 2.4 on 32 bit but I'm not sure
