I started out trying to merge some geotiff topo maps of a state. I kept
getting results that were all black. It seems that style was palletee
unique values and that merge could not handle that. So I converted them
to multiband color using gdal_translate. Some of the merged topos were
not linin
I have a postgis table of multi-point geometry objects.
Qgis seems to render the whole set of points with one symbol.
I am wondering how to render a multi-point object with a symbol for each
point, and preferably with a different color for each multi-point
set/object.

I am getting error messages like this when I first start qgis. I have
tried installing different versions of programs, but with no luck. It
seems that I get a different message where the situation is reversed,
the other one has a higher number API. So I am wondering which package

I am using qis to edit tracks of a GPS file. Usually I want to delete
extraneous tracks from the layer.
I import the layer as a vector gpx file. If I import the gpx file and it
has more than one track ( ) then the indiviual points will
not show up when I open the attribute table. I just get 2
