My question is thus, does this sound possible and have anyone else done
something similar? The area being mapped is actually flat and I am not sure
if that would make a difference.

software recognizing my intention and adjusting the path the best fit the
line based on the colour I chose or follow the line.

The authentication thing is no big deal sometimes the keyservers just
aren't working. As a question of clarification which repository are you
installing QGIS from?

Hi Alex,
The Plugin Installer if that is a plugin itself then it is not listed.
The keyservers have not been working for a while and that breaks any
other
updates. Which means
/python_in_qgis_tutorial1.html
Then look for the QSpatialite plugin.
Enjoy,
Alex

It would allow you to navigate, print parts of the map and display
attribute data. Users can also toggle map layers.
See http://gis.uster.ch/ for examples.

I have installed every available Spatialite package:
libspatialite-dev install
libspatialite2 install
the
python-qgis package or maybe the base plugins
sudo apt-get install python-qgis python-qgis-common
Give that a try, restart qgis and see if you have python plugin access.
Thanks,

Hi
This question is not as much QGIS specific but more about generic GIS
writeable attributes to a CSV imported layer, if at
all? Or do I need to import the CSV file and convert it to an QGIS type
format?
Am I approaching this the correct way or is there an easier way to customize
my label setting so that I don't have labels overprinting.

I don't understand why that would cause the error message to go away. Is
avoid intersections not supposed to be limited to a specific layer?
