we try to connect a wfs in QGIS 2.8 in Ubuntu an as alternativ in QGIS 2.4 in
SUSE.
The wfs has at least 7 million objects and we want to load and cache them in
QGIS.
When we check that, QGIS just loads the first delivered object or it says, that
the process crashes.

we find out, that there is a problem to integrate and use a secured WMS
in QGis 2.0.1 and 1.8 . We use QGis in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
The secured WMS detects http_digest error.

we provide many WMS. These WMS are supported by UMN Mapserver. In some of the
concerning MAP-Files the Header-Marker 'EXTENT' has an smaller expansion than
the 'EXTENT' of an individual layer of that WMS.
The result is, that the given picture in QGis is cut to the size of the
Header's e
fference" feature either since all my polygons are on a single layer.

I have som Problems to find self intersections and other invalid geometry in
vector data with the vector analysis tools ? Is there any existing "HowTo" ?
