Hello everybody
I'm facing a problem with qgis 2.8 svg symbology.
I'll like to create my own symbol an I cannot understand how can I do it.
I'm using Inkscape
If I take a svg symbol from the qgis standard ones and save it with Inkscape
then I cannot modify its fill..
I tried to save as inkscape

there was a little work to do cleaning the inkscape code (there are metadata
on page layout and other things) but it worked!
Do you suggest any other vectorial editor program?

I'm trying to create polygons using an existing polyline coming from a layer
(let's say a coastline).
What I'm doing is:
a) select a polyline from a coastline feature layer
b) export selection as new layer
c) add some other polylines (to describe the polygons areas) to the new
created layer

It loads with no problem and I can apply a style without issues.
When I try to label it I get a lot of messages in qgis log, like the below

windows xp I can load excel data in qgis as is for csv data (add vector).

in my case there was a colleague who suddenly wasn't able to open a project
file with a huge amount of data to be loaded.
Qgis crashed without any particular message.
