Hi list,
This is new to me so apologies if something not complete.
I am on a iMac late 2013 running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6
I have the standard stable QGIS install 3.8.1 (full info below)
I wish to upload a map to qgiscloud or package it so that another user can
download the map.

Grant,
You can simply add vector layer and path to your GPX file and select all parts
and it will come like a shapefile.

Hello
I use to work with QGis and PostgreSQL/Postgis.
But for this project, I have to use an Oracle (11.2 + locator) layer.
I can't put this layer in PostgreSQL / Postgis, no way...
This Oracle layer has 22000 objects (linestring), a spatial index, and it
takes 24 seconds to display the whole
Hello
We are trying to make a silent installation of QGis 2.2.
We encounter a pb with Windows XP and the standalone installer
QGIS-OSGeo4W-2.2.0-1-Setup-x86.exe.
At the end of the process, we are getting a screen asking which account
will run QGis (cf image).
Is there a way to avoid this
Does QGIS have any license agreement related to SZIP use?
I'd like to use QGIS on a project, but we're stuck on whether/how the szip.dll
is licensed for use.
For example HDF specifically has a license page asserting permission to use
szip in their distribution, so long as it is used within the
Hello,
Is there a way to avoid that QGis autoincrement the integer key of a
Postgis table?
I have a simple Postgis table that has a valuable integer key.

Hi,
please update QGIS to the current version (2.0). Then your problem will be
gone

Hello,
We are testing QGis for an offline edition project with PostgreSQL /
Postgis layers.
As version 1.8 seems to have other offline edition problems, we use 1.7.4
But the following problem appears :
The test is very simple and reproductible, I only move a point and I create
a new one.

Hello,
We are looking to a windows 8 tab with an internal GPS.
We tought that if we install QGis on this tab, we will then get a super
GPS.
We could then bring our data outside, retreive their location, take
pictures, edit the data offline, then synchronize with our Postgis database
and so on.
What a reactivity !
Thank you very much Lee.
It is exactly the behaviour we need.

Fabrice,
I filed a bug report, and it turns out this has already been fixed in
the development version.

Hi all,
We are not able to set explicitly the value of an integer primary key field.
It is possible to set this value with pgAdmin.
But when the feature is created with QGis, it takes the next max value of
the field and not the spécified value...
To reproduce this strange behaviour :
-- create
to assign the next sequence value on INSERT. Apart from that I have
no need to interfere with my pk values and I am glad, that QGIS takes care
of that.

Hi Matt,
I go along with Sabre. Also, once you have a grid you can use a
hillshade to display your data - though usually used for terrain
analysis. This makes it easier to see actual features in your landscape
(or 'depth-scape' in your case :-) )

that integrating sextante into it is
a good idea. However, it is necessary to be sure that the tools actually
provide the output that they are supposed to.
A note to the developers of qgis - thanks for a lot of good work!

values. Try to find if wrong coordinates are passed to qgis.g.info or
qgis.g.info gives wrong values.
If you cannot compile with debug output, try to verify if qgis.g.info
module works correctly, you can run it as any other module in GRASS
shell.

My guess is manageR is looking for R.exe in the old default path.
Hope that helps.

Hello List
QGis used to deal only with integer (INT4) primary keys (QGis 1.2
PostgreSQL/Postgis 8.2).
Do you know if it is still the case (QGis 1.4)?
It is annoying for us that QGis can't use existing character primary key...
We have to add an artificial integer primary key and transform the
