Hi list,
in Advanced Digitizing panel one can use the Construction Mode to set a new
reference point for the next distance and/or angle constraints, without
adding an actual vertex to the digitized feature. This is extremely useful
once one gets used to the way it works, though it is very easy to forget to
disable Construction Mode and end up with yet another reference point
instead of a digitized point. This is remedied by disabling construction
mode, setting a distance of 0 and adding the vertex at the new reference
point.

I think that for most use cases it would be very useful if construction mode
was automatically disabled once a new reference is selected without the need
to manually disable it.
Is there some common use case that requires lots of subsequent Construction
Mode points to be added that would be handicapped by such a change?

Regards,
Stefanos
