Dear QGIS users,
I would like to ask how to clip a polygon using a raster layer?
basically, I have a raster layer and I want to use it as a clip layer to my

Hi Leo,
If you install the Processing plugin, you will find a clip tool for
vector layers in the toolbox.
You can also use ogr2ogr option --clipsrc
(http://www.gdal.org/ogr2ogr.html)... command line rcoks :)
Cheers,
V.

You can:
- create the polygon convering your raster extent: Vector -> Research
Tools -> Polygon from layer extent
- obtain the clip between your vector layer and the extent polygon: Vector
-> Geoprocessing tools -> Clip
@Vincent: Processing is installed with QGIS, you don't have to install it.
