can´t directly transfer waypoinst to Quantum GIS.
The Quantum GIS GPS tool is configured as

First, what OS are you working on? (In
Ubuntu you might need some changes to the .udev configuration)
Second, be sure there are no spaces or non-ASCII characters in the
path to the gpx file.
