A feature QGIS provides for some releases now in the styling stuffs is
"Match to saved symbols" in the Advanced combobox under the frame that
displays classification.

I have a polygon file where I have coloured the polygons by geological type
(using the rgb(red,green,blue) function, and wondered if I can create a
legend with the colours and the corresponding geology names?
