Hello
I'm trying to create polygons using an existing polyline coming from a layer
(let's say a coastline).
What I'm doing is:
a) select a polyline from a "coastline feature layer"
b) export selection as new layer
c) add some other polylines (to describe the polygons areas) to the new
created layer in an editing session, making sure the end points of new
polylines snap to vertices of the original polyline
d) cut away the pieces of original polyline that don't partecipate to the
polygons borders
e) use "polygonize" tool in processing

The result ia s polygon for each polyline in the layer.
So, for example, if I cut two pieces of original polyline and add 2
polylines to close 2 polygons, I obtain 4 polygons, with ends of each of the
four polylines automatically closed...

Where is my mistake??
Thanks
Pietro
