Hi,
Is your directional linear network (road, rivers...) driving you crazy?
I have just uploaded 3 interdependent models will check for invalid
geometries, identify common network errors (disconnected edges,
multipart geometries, overlapping geometries, parallel edges, self
connecting lines, network vectorizing direction changes...). It provides
tools to track changes when fixes are applied to the network file.
Visit the project web site at
https://gitlab.com/njacadieux/fix-directional-network-qgis-models and “A
Python Algorithm for Shortest-Path River Network Distance Calculations
Considering River Flow Direction” for more details
https://doi.org/10.3390/data5010008 <https://doi.org/10.3390/data5010008>.
Built and tested on QGIS 3.20.
-Fix Directional Network, Check Geometries, model 1 of 3.
-Fix Directional Network, Check Network, model 2 of 3.
-Fix Directional Network, Fix Network, model 3 of 3.
Models have been uploaded to https://plugins.qgis.org/models/ and are
waiting for final approval.
Thank you to René Paillard, Harrissou Delaz, Luiz Motta, Charles
Dixon-Paver, Andrea Giudiceandrea, David Strip and others for reaching
out on the QGIS mailling list and for providing test data. A special
thanks to Margaret Kalacska, Oliver T. Coomes, Sébastien Breau, Yoshito
Takasaki and Mari Tanaka for providing a challenge.
