Hello
I'm using QGis 2.2.0 (Valmiera), and have created a Oracle connection.
Through this connection, I could read and update existing data, but haven't
found an interface to load a shapefile to a new table.
Is there a way to do that?
Regards
Estevan
Hi,
Have you tried with the dbmanager?
You would load the shapefile into your project. Then dbmanager can take
this data and create a new table in Oracle using this data. In DBManager
navigate to your db-connection and use the Table - Import Layer/File
Hope this helps.

The DB manager only shows the options of postgis and spatial lite. Also,
the database menu only has the options refresh, SQL window and exit, with
no option to access new database.

Close - at least ui wise. You can use the browser to drag and drop content
from one data source (eg. shape file) to another (eg. oracle connection).
The dbmanager AFAIK only supports
Hi,
You are right. I also can't see my Oracle connection in the db-manager.
Pity ...

This would be a reasonably easy improvement to do.
All the best.

Um, what's wrong with using the browser? You just drag the shapefile to and
oracle connection and drop it.
