[Qgis-user] Loading rectangular raster data in QGIS

2014-11-24 Thread Nicole Stoffels
Dear all, I am trying to load a raster file containing rectangular cells into QGIS. The header looks like this: ncols 97 nrows 60 xllcorner 276591.68 yllcorner 5539072.48 cellsize 58.198 , 87.623 NODATA_value - QGIS displays the cells as squares, even though

Hi, Make sure you are opening the raster in the right projection.nbsp; Make sure your project is in that projection.nbsp; Explore the default CSR options. Nicolas Cadieux M.Sc. Les Entreprises Arch#233;otec inc.#160; 8548, rue Saint-Denis Montr#233;al H2P 2H2

Thanks, for your answer. However, my project and my raster both have the same projection (EPSG:32632 - WGS 84 / UTM zone 32N). With the CSR options I cannot find anything that does not seem to be right. Am 24.11.2014 um 14:05 schrieb Nicolas Cadieux: Hi, Make sure you are opening the raster in

Hi, I meant to change the project crs to epsg 4326. Make sure you have on the fly projection. When you do that, the cells become rectangular. But I think there is something wrong with the file: Change the header to this for a rectangular pixel. Should work. Save it as .asc ncols 97

With the new header as you suggest it, it works. Thank you so much! Nicole Am 24.11.2014 um 16:31 schrieb Nicolas Cadieux: Change header to Change the header to this for a rectangular pixel. Should work. Save it as .asc ncols 97 nrows 60 xllcorner 276591.68
