Some work was done on this a few years ago. I don't think the project has
evolved very much since. The openwor plugin does not import styles but
does import the layer properly. It would be nice to get both working
together.

If you have MapInfo wth discover, you can save the colour scheme for each
polygon as a new column in the tab file, then use that to colourise it via
the properties, styles menu in qgis.
Failing that if you have a screen grab of the map/tab file you can
