Uninstalling QGIS 2.2 (Valmeira), and using the OSGeo4W installer to install QGIS 2.12, QGIS 2.13, and QGIS 2.8.5, and using one of those versions, enabled me to successfully use the cs2cs command line tool. Thanks very much for the prompt and helpful replies I received about this matter. _

Dear Philip probably you have installed QGIS standalone automaticly into the "Program files" folder. Some of the utilities installed with QGI doesn't like special characters in the path. Solutions: 1. Use the OSGeo4W installer, you can use/install more utilities/software 2. Reinstall QGIS into
