[Qgis-user] Polygons from metes and bounds description?

Can anyone tell me how I would create a polygon type .shp layer/file from a metes and bounds property legal description? I see special tools for the ArcGis program. Is there anything in Qgis that will do the job? Mike K ___ Qgis-user mailing list

I imagine you are talking about COGO tools, try the following plugin http://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/CadInput/ although I think you would need to convert to azimuths to be able to use it -- View this message in context:
