Yes. I was about to suggest that. On the layer properties, in the transparency tab, check what you have in the no data option. Also, make sure that in the clip tool, the advanced options, for the no data value, you don't use a value that is a valid value on the image. Alexandre Neto

Dear all, I have tried to work with masks with: Raster > Extraction > Clip raster by mask layer but QGIS deteriorates the quality of the clipped raster to a high extend. Is it possible that the algorithm has mistakes? Or is
