Installation is simple - double-click the .dmg to mount it, drag and drop Qgis
to your Applications folder. Nothing to check.
If you installed the standard Qgis, you must also install the frameworks

I'm trying to install qgis 1.4 Mac OS X - Leopard 10.5.8 in Atom
netbook :-) just to see how it look in Mac OS X. It is not working. I
am new to Mac OS X. What is console command to check the installation?
Qgis 1.4 Windows XP is working perfectly.
