The same bluring happened to me with the map supplied as part of Hans van
der Kwast's course on Hydrology and GIS. It looks great in Irfran View but
not in QGIS at the same scale.
I am sure the projection is ok because I set it myself (it's part of the
course)

match the one of your map and therefore it gets reprojected by QGIS?
Check the Information tab of your tiff layer properties (CRS) and your
map projection in the lower right corner of the QGIS main window.

It sounds like the image has "pyramids" which enable the system to allow
for faster navigation and rendering by creating a "cache" of lower
resolution copies. If Image quality is important you can remove or adjust
the pyramid settings depending on your needs, but it will likely impact

I have a tif file and when I open it with Irfanview sharpness is ok. With
raster-layer in QGIS 3.10 A Coruna the raster looks like loosing sharpness.
Does anybody know how to present it right in QGIS?
