Please upgrade to qgis 3.4 and report back, with the text of errors you
encounter.
This is a widely used plugin, it's unlikely it has major bugs.

After installing a 3.x version of QGIS (I suggest 3.4 LTR), try creating a
new clean profile (settings > user profiles > new profile) and install the
plugin in it.
If the problem persists, please repor here and in the SCP issue tracker.
