Please point me in the right direction if this is not the correct group to post
this query to.
I want to make a feature request to the 'Topology Checker' plugin developer(s)
to add an area column to the output.
I've been to Github but can't identify the author(s).
TIA
Testing it in QGIS 3.4.

You give it the linestring layer and it will create polygons wherever there
is an enclosed area. The lines do not require common vertices at the
intersections.
It does allow the ability to create the same attrib
Hi,
Some discussion here.

You will probably have to split the line where they intersect...

Hi, can anyone explain how I can have QGIS transform a map consisting of
intersectioning lines into a map consisting of neighbouring polygons?
Many thanks in advance!

Hi,
Small correction,
If you extract the end nodes (vertices) of the line, you can use the

layer or node layer must be covered by line. I therefore assume the
QGIS topology checker can work for endnode only and not for "mid
Hi Marshal,
I looked at your data. The first problem is that none or your line nodes
intersect with a point. It looks close... but it's not close enough.
By using "snap geometry location", I was able to create a new line that
snaps to your point. (called Topologie snapped_line in the file I
Hi,
I don’t have QGIS in front of me. I looked around on the the net and was
surprised to see the «covered By » option for points and lines. Unless a line
is snapped, or intersects a point exactly on a Line node, it’s just about
impossible to calculate if a line « covers » a point. This is s
Hello everyone,
I want to use the topology checker to check if point features are covered
by line features. For example are the bus stops covered by the bus lines.
Therefore I use the topology checker with the following rule: "points" must
be covered by "lines". But I get the error for all points t
Hi there.
Is it possible to create a geometry for the topology-errors being found?
Points would be nice ... it's easier to share or communicate with geoms ;)
Best regards,
Tobias

As far as I can tell the Topology Chcker plugin doesn't have that rule.

Hello,
I have a shapefile with 98,000+ polygons. The Arcmap "Check Geometry" tool
reports that many of those polygons have "incorrect ring ordering".
However, using the same shapefile, when I use the QGIS 2.2 Topology Checker
Plugin with the "must not have invalid geometries" option, zero e
Hi everybody,
is here somebody at the list who maintains the topology check plugin? I
like this tool very much, but i need the option to export the failure

Hi,
I have a problem with the topology checker that I had already reported in this
ticket http://hub.qgis.org/issues/8095.
However, I continue with the following problem. If I click on some of the
errors in the list, when I make "New project", the last error that was clicked,
do not disappear.

Hi,
We are just looking at QGIS as a way of capturing new pipeline data for our
water network data. I'm wondering if its possible in QGIS to set certain
topology rules.
For example, we currently use Intergraphs geomedia, and that enforces
certain standards when capaturing data. For example, if we
