I get the following messages piped back to the terminal when I execute QGIS
2.18.9 with ubuntu dependencies. I'm using Linux Mint 2.18.1 with Cinnamon
x64 3.2.7 and kernal version 4.8.0-51 generic:

there seem to be problems with the Ubuntu runtime dependencies. I don't run
Ubuntu myself. If you can, try and see if it will let you use an older
version of qhull (2012.1, for example).

I'm running QGIS 2.8.6 (nightly build) after a complete reinstallation of the
OSGEO Suite on Windows 8.
QGIS crashes on startup without any useful error message but writing a *.dmp
file.
Is there any way of retrieving the reason for the crash from the *.dmp file and
eventually finding

Or you can use different startup options - see
http://docs.qgis.org/2.8/en/docs/user_manual/introduction/getting_started.html#command-line-options
with the
--configpath C:\temp\qgistest
You can temporarily set your .qgis2 directory to some other path without
loosing your settings. It
directory? Should I change settings in the
registry?!
