[Qgis-user] export data as .csv or .txt

Is it possible to export (or save) data from qgis as a simple text file, for example I deal with a lot of point data and after doing various things such as finding the attributes of each point on a raster image within the gis I then want to then get this data out as a simple text file so it can

Hi, if I'm not wrong I believe that what you need is already available. Just select one/more features and then edit -> copy features. If you paste the result in a text editor you'll get a csv file. You can also identify features and in the resulting pop up window you can right clic and choose m
