Now, i compile qgis with gcc 4.2 (and not gcc 4.3) and now there is
no more errors (segfault, ...). (test with debian sid)
# cd /usr/bin
# rm gcc
# ln -s gcc-4.2 gcc

I have noticed a quite similar problem in QGIS 0.10 @ Ubuntu 8.04. The new
Installer doesn't see installed plugins, because the
