Hi Peter,
Thanx for helping. I am hoping that you can help to find a solution. Making
profiles is one of the main reasons for me to use Qgis. I really hope the bug
can be fixed.
Kind regards,
Joyce

Hi,
I can confirm on the other project (crayfish) the same problem related
to pyqtgrapth (both 0.11 and 0.12 versions) with EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT) in
PyEval_SaveThread. I am investigating it, but it wouldn't be easy to

Hi, with shut down you mean it crashes? If yes, does it produce a crash

Hi,
I don’t know what is going on. I would create a new user profile and try
again. You could directly contact the programmers. You should find the info
on the plugin page. https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/profiletool/

However, there are several profile plugins available. You can, e.g. try
to use the VOGIS Profile tool
(http://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/VoGisProfilTool/) or one of the other
profile plugins.
But it could a

Hi guys,
You can manually extract the files from the shapely installer (using

There is a windows installer for Shapely.

The problem that I ran into was that the installer defaults to the
Python install listed in the Registry. For me, (and probably most
people), that is not the Python instance installed by OSGEO4W. At

Hi Micha
Concerning the 'Profile from Line' plugin, I've opened a ticket some
months ago at OSGEO4W's bugtracker asking for packaging of a more
recent version of the Shapely package but haven't had a reply. I guess
they haven't gotten around to do it yet.
However, I believe there must be a way of
