BTW: nothing dirctly concerned with the problem, but I have found an
interesting thing:
As I have written, I have tested my program with Archive v2.30 and that
worked. As this is a QL version, it writes the white menu border to
$2, so not visible under QPC as long as there is no QL_SCREMU. So

However I always used multiple new lines instead of FF, with an empty
printer_dat. I did _all_ my printer config in the Archive programs.
Of course this works, but I find it a bit old-fashioned

If there is a fix, then why not?
The major bug in the sH chip (uninitialised interrupts) has never
been cured by Microchip. The workaround is fine and works -
ditto archive.
