As Marcos has pointed out, it

Thank you. It's in the non-free component of the Raspbian repositories.
I just installed it, and SMSQmulator runs remarkably faster. I tested
the BogoMIPS (Raspberry Pi 2):
SMSQmulator 7216:
5.50, 5.57, 5.53, 5.14, 5.58...
SMSQmulator 8216:
5.62, 5.62, 5.56, 5.06, 5.64...

Hi,

It was a substantial optimization. I do not know if it works for armv6

Me neither. It seems Oracle Java 8 is 200% faster than openjdk 7 on
Raspberry Pi.

Hi,
I use SMSQmulator on a Fujitsu Celcius H700 Core i7, with 4Gb ram, using
Linux with Java 8. The whole system runs perfect.
The only problem I have is the screen resolution of the hardware is too
high, so I have double the screen window, which solves this.
I have a Pi B & Pi B+, which I

Thank you. It's in the non-free component of the Raspbian

I still have to investigate how to install Oracle Java 8 on
And this, from 2014, shows how to install Oracle Java 8. On a Pi.

Yes, it's fast enough to be usable. It's the only QL emulator I use, I
never succeded in compiling or executing uQLx-arm on
