If theres anything out there that will convert bmp or png to QL pic
format I must have missed it! Can anyone help?

Not that I know of - I once did one to go from scr to bmp (abd scr to pcx) a
long time ago - I think you can get it on Dilwyn's web site.

PS. I did consider writing one to do a bmp to scr (pic) but then I didn't
have enough graphics knowlege to consider converting from 32 bit, 24 bit, 16
Find a Sbasic program attached. It's very slow and only works on 24 bit
bmp's.

Sorry I think I misunderstood you. I assumed you wanted a program to
convert bitmaps to
QPC hicolour. It would be quite a feat to convert down from 24 bit to 3.

Guess why so many people love their QL/SMS machine : a twenty line basic
program can do something for you where you need a complete CD of (smart but
unusfull) code on a PC ;-)
