if you define a new proc or FN with the same name as an existing one, the
second one takes control. So TK2, for example, modifies CALL (to fix the 32K
bug), OPEN (all variants - to use DATAD$ and PROGD$ when looking for the
filename). PRINT, as far as I know, isn't modified, but
