Morning Dilwyn,
I suspect the foaming stuff in the sea off Whitby is probably the result of
something a lot less socially acceptable than a group of QL users (Feeble
attempt I know, but !). I'm pretty sure there's plenty of sewage type stuff
around there.
Or maybe, for the oldies amongst us,
Morning George,
I wrote an expression evaluator once, many years ago, in SuperBasic and then
converted it to C. Yeuch - all that recursion.
I suspect the obvious answer to how the EE should be written is 'so that it
conforms to arithmetic priority' as in brackets, multiplication/division

I think the Motorola specification states left to right except as modified
by brackets. In other words multiplication/division does not get priority
over addition/subtraction unless you use brackets.

OK, I asked before and got not suggestions, so here goes again:
What is the best way to detect if the GD2 drivers are present ?? Probably call one of the new traps, but which one??
Anyone??

Seems I may need to compress the graphics to get QWord to work on Aurora - does anyone have any good code or better graphics compression techniques than run line encoding???

Hi all,
I managed just now to connect to the internet with my Aurora running SMSQ/E 2y99 but
not through QDOS/SMSQ.E but via PC Conqueror SE, TCPIP for DOS (IBM ca 1995), MS
DOS 6.22 and Lynx. Next I will try DR-DOS 7.03 which also has a graphical browser in
it
(I doubt it it can work with

I can only repeat what I've already wrote last time:
"Have a look at keys_con "pt_ident". GD2 can be identified by this."

Just out of interest, why? What minimal memory requirement do you want
to achieve?
Not sure - it will be gold card minimum anyway -

Not sure - it will be gold card minimum anyway - currently the graphics for
Aurora amount to 900K and the program and machine code to approx 110K plus a
QTYP dictionary
Well the GoldCard won't need that much as the Aurora
