Is there a way to get qmail to use the IP that mail is recived in on to
resend it back out ?
ie My qmail box has a few IP applied to it.
10.1.1.1
10.1.1.2
10.1.1.3
I'd like mail comming in via smtp on 10.1.1.2 to go out useing 10.1.1.2 as
the src address. Currently it defaults to 10.1.1.1
IS
If it was delivered to maildirs, would a simple tar / FTP /untar solution
work ?? assuming ofcourse that both machines have the same maildir setup ?

What I did for a very simular project was develop a replacement to getpwent
for uwimad.
then when linking the Imap server, Just include the new "getpwent" instead
of the standard system one and away you go. if you require more info on
this let me know and I'll send my getpwent to you.

I have a question that may have been covered else ware or maybe even in the
docs but I can't find it.
Is it possible to have qmail-smtp use an environment var as apposed to
control/me for echoing back the "hostname"
ie 220 $ENV{host} ESMTP
instead of
220 control/me ESMTP
??
Thanks
