maybe you could try qmail-ldap.
migrating the maiboxes is just a matter of
writing some shell scripts and using getmail
for instance. a few weeks ago we migrated isocor
to qmail-ldap.

: Hi,
:
: Thanks for the answer
try
this
on
your pop host;
telnet
0 110
user
yourusername
pass
yourpassword
list
if
this doesn't work you might look if you have the relevant
account(s) created. if you have, than you might
consider
posting your
configuration to the list.

you must get a greeting from the server.
the 220 response is valid, have you try to
greet it and continue a smtp session ?

ok...
try
this; grep theparticulardomain /var/qmail/control/locals
p.s.
you are askinga *very* basic question here, which
isvery well treated in qmail's documentation..
hope you
consider that.

Hi,
I am currently testing qmail and notice that for some users it will
fail to deliver mail eventhough the Maildir exists and has the right
permission. I will receive the message that there is no Maildir by that
name.
do I need to rewrite the dot in the e-mail address by something else ?.
We are right now in the process of migrating a large sendmail installation.
I ran into a problem.
the sendmail installation we want to replace has a mailertable of +/- 24 entries
which tells the mta where to relay mails for a specific domain.
the syntax goes like this;
domain.org
Thanks ! :)
