sigh. whenever a user sends mail to my qmail server and that user's ip is
not the /etc/tcp.smtp file, the mail gets bounced.
that's not the way things should be. i'm using a separate smtp server, so
why would it refuse the message? i thought rcpthosts was only for allowing
users to use the server

it seems that i have to add every domain i want to send to
/var/qmail/control/rcpthosts.
that can't be right? '*' as the only entry in /var/qmail/control/rcphosts
doesn't seem to work.
