Bug in qmail´s SMTP AUTH implementation?

Hi, I am actually a EXIM user; I´d like to route my mail via a smart host - he uses qmail. This is where this mailing list comes into sight. :) My uplink wants me to use SMTP authentification, which my mailer supports. Actually, it will still not try to authentificate. I suppose that the followi
